[Common name] Ceftazidime for Injection

 

[Ingredients] The major ingredient of the product is ceftazidime.

 

[Indication] It is indicated for such infections caused by sensitive gram-negative bacillus as the sepsis, lower respiratory tract infection, celiac and biliary tract infection, complexity, urinary tract infection and serious skin soft- tissue infection. In addition, it is particularly effective for such infections caused by multiple drug-resistant gram-negative bacilli as the infections inflicted on immunocompromised patients and nosocomial infection, as well as for central nervous system infections caused by gram-negative bacillus or pseudomonas aeruginosa.

 

[Specification] 1.0g

 

[Usage and Dosage] Intravenous injection or intravenous drip 1. For sepsis, lower respiratory tract infection and biliary tract infection, the dose shall be 46g a day, administered through intravenous drip or injection in 23 portions, a course of 1014d. 2. For urinary tract infection and severe skin soft-tissue infection: the dose shall be 24g a day, administered through intravenous drip or injection in 2 portions, a course of 714d. 3. For some fatal infections, severe pseudomonas aeruginosa infection and central nervous system infections: the dose can be increased to 0.150.2g/kg a day, administered through intravenous drip or injection in 3 portions. 4. The usual dose for infants should be calculated on the basis of 30100mg/kg a day, administered through intravenous drip in 23 portions.
