[Common name] Cefepime Hydrochloride for Injection

 

[Ingredients] The major ingredient of the product is cefepime hydrochloride.

 

[Indication] It is indicated for moderate and severe infections inflicted on adult, children aged between 2 months and 16 years caused by sensitive bacteria, including lower respiratory infection (pneumonia and bronchitis), simple lower urinary tract infection and complexity of urinary tract infection (including pyelonephritis), non complex skin and skin soft-tissue infection, complexity intra-abdominal infections (including peritonitis and biliary tract infection), gynecological infections and septicemia, and the neutropenia associated with fever. It is also can be used to cure the cerebrospinal meningitis caused by bacteria for children.

 

[Specification] Calculated on the basis of C19H24N6O5S2  (1) 1.0g and (2) 2.0 g

 

[Usage and Dosage] The product should be administered through intravenous drip or deep intramuscular injection. For adult and the children aged 16 or weighted 40kg or above, depending on its condition, the dose should be 12g at each time, once every 12h through intravenous drip, a course of 7~10d; for mild and moderate urinary tract infections, the product should be administered once every 12h through intravenous drip or deep intramuscular injection, a course of 7~10d; and for severe urinary tract infections, the product should be administered once every 12h through intravenous drip, with a course of 10d.
